Who it is for

Nurses

Registered nurses and midwives preparing to register and work in an English-speaking country.

Doctors

Physicians and medical graduates who need OET Medicine for registration, a job offer or further training.

Retakers

Candidates who missed grade B in one sub-test and want focused, honest feedback before trying again.

OET is accepted by healthcare regulators in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and other countries. Most ask for grade B (350) in each sub-test; some accept C+ in Writing. We help you check exactly what your regulator needs.

All four sub-tests, the way OET tests them

Speaking

Two role-plays per class with real role cards: build rapport, explain without jargon, handle worried patients and meet every clinical communication criterion.

Writing

Read case notes, choose what matters and write referral, discharge and transfer letters in 180-200 words — marked against the six official criteria.

Reading

Part A speed-reading in 15 minutes, Part B workplace extracts and Part C articles, with strategies for every question type.

Listening

Consultation note-taking, handovers and presentations — training your ear for real clinical English and accents.

OET questions

What level do I need to start?

About B2 (upper-intermediate). If you are not sure, take our free English level test or message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether to start with OET Prep or a general English level first.

How long will it take to reach grade B?

It depends on where you start and which sub-tests you need. Many candidates need one to three parts (10-30 hours). After your initial assessment we give you a realistic plan.

Do you teach both Nursing and Medicine?

Yes. Listening and Reading are the same for every profession; Speaking and Writing are practised with tasks for your own profession.

Can I take only Speaking or only Writing?

Yes. Pay as you go at $45 per hour and we focus only on the sub-tests you need.

How much does OET Prep cost?

The initial assessment is $25 (60 minutes). After that, pay as you go at $45 per hour, or take the full 30-hour program, paid as three 10-hour modules: $425 per module by credit card ($1,275 in total), or $400 per module by bank transfer or Revolut ($1,200 in total) — a 6% saving.

Are you an official OET centre?

No. We are an independent school that prepares candidates for the test. You book the exam itself with OET, at a test centre or with OET@Home.

Do you have a self-study option?

Yes. OET Self-Study gives you 60 days of online practice for a one-time payment of $59: practice tests, mock exams, writing tasks with model letters, speaking role-plays and skill drills. You can add teacher marking, a speaking mock or live classes whenever you want. Try a free sample first, no account needed.
